Hi guys!
Usually the ink that I bought for my printer is the HP 650 Black/Tri-Colour Ink Cartridge. Now the problem is that I can't find these anymore in my place. So I made some research about my printer and the ink that is "compatible" with it according to the HP SureSupply website is the HP 678 Black/Tri-Colour Ink Cartridge.
So I managed to buy them easily, I opened the package then inserted them to my printer and somehow a message came up saying "Incompatible Ink Cartridges". I tried reinserting it. I tried restarting my computer and printer. I literally tried everything but nothing changed. Non of it worked.
Right now, I currently live in the Philippines and I bought them from Office Warehouse and I'm hoping if I can return it to them even though I opened them already. I have the receipts. Is it possible if I return them and get my money back?

Where was the printer originally purchased? The Deskjet Ink Advantage 1515 uses the HP 650 cartridge in the UK and some other countries. In the Philippines the correct cartridge is the HP 678, but you will need to have the printer reset to accept these.
You will need to Contact HP to request a "Regionalization Reset". There should not be any charge for this, it is covered as part of the cartridge warranty. You will need to have access to your computer and printer while on the line with HP. You will also need to have a set of cartridges for the new region, once the reset is complete cartridges from the original region will no longer work. HP's web page on the subject is here.
