Please someone help me!  I've been bounced around 4 times already on the phone.

Why can I no longer print from my iPhone XR to my HP Office Jet 6962 printer?  When I try to print something the only choices that pop up are AirPrint and Google CloudPrint.  I have no idea what either of those are.  i am a senior and technically challenged so I don't know what to check either on my printer or my cell phone settings.  I have not changed anything so I don't know why I can no longer print.  I need to have this function for work.   Printing from my laptop is no problem.  Just from my cell lphone.  Someone please help me!

Hi @nbeck0619

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the  "cannot print from iphone" issue.

Google Cloud Print is a Google service that lets users print from any Cloud Print-aware application (web, desktop, mobile) on any device in the network cloud to any printer with native support for connecting to cloud print services

AirPrint is a feature in Apple Inc.'s macOS and iOS operating systems for printing via a wireless LAN, either directly to AirPrint-compatible printers

Install HP Smart app to print from your phone- refer to Install and Use the HP Smart App

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

I appreciate your response but unfortunately that did not help.  I already had the HP Smart app on my cell from the very beginning.  I used it with my Galaxy cell and had been using it from my iPhone XR.  As I mentioned, this Air Print and Google Cloud thing popped up out of the blue.  I need to know how to print via the HP App again.

Here's why I don't want to print using these 2 other options:  Air Print:  It will not allow you to change the print settings, i.e., it only prints in color.  I don't need to print in color, I only need to print in black and draft.  As for Google Cloud, I checked into that and it is way too confusing on how to set up, etc.

How do I get rid of these 2 that popped up out of nowhere so that I can use my HP App only?

Please check the document I had suggested that has the instructions on how to print using the HP Smart App and how to change the print settings to black only as well.
