I can not print A3 from word or excel on my Hp Officejet 7740 pro

Good day, 

I can not get the setting right to be able to print A3, the print option does not show Tray 1 or 2, not even in print options, i did configure the settings on the printer itself, please help

The results depend on

• The device you are using (computer, tablet, phone),
• The Operating System / version running on that device,
• The application / software used to open, view, configure, and submit the job to the printer

Best option for print (and possibly scan, too):

• Supported Version of Windows
• Installation of the Full Feature Software
• Alert the printer to the paper size and type loaded in the printer for the current job (for print) - Printer Control Panel / EWS > Tray and Paper
• Make sure the Driver in Printer Properties is pointing to the HP driver and not the Microsoft / Class IPP drivers
• Use an app / software program that can print the content type (for example, Word / PDF / Photo - Image)

Printer - Printer Software

HP Full Feature Software / Full Driver printer software - supports printing and scanning from the web, printing in in other software and programs (for example, Word), and provides access to the full range of Printing Preferences / Shortcuts.  The full driver adds at least two shortcuts to the Desktop: Printer Assistant and HP Scan. If the printer model includes built-in Fax hardware, the software supports the setup and use of the Fax driver. No Sign-in required.

After the software is installed, Restart the computer and sign in.

The installation of the full driver adds at least two shortcuts to the Desktop:

Try using EWS to view / adjust the default paper size and type settings in the printer.

NOTE:  Find printer IP address

EWS – Browser – Tray and Paper Management

Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Tab Settings > Preferences > Tray and Paper (Management)

Select / Adjust settings for Paper Size / Type

Model Dependent:  Advanced section

Click Apply to save changes

Tray and Paper – Paper Size / Paper Type / Paper Weight

Reminder

HP Smart Mobile requires that paper size / type is adjusted before the content is opened to be printed.

Paper Size, Type, and Weight loaded in the printer tray must be supported for use in that tray.

EWS provides access and control to check / adjust Tray and Paper Settings.

Note

Depending on the printer model, the Printer Control Panel might provide access to Paper Size / Type settings immediately after the paper is (re)loaded into the appropriate printer intake tray.

Custom size?

If EWS does not allow setting the paper size or size “Custom”, look for the setting to do so in the Printer Control Panel after (re)loading the paper to be used
