Hi, 

My printer "sees" only PDF;s I can not print Word Docs ...

If your printer only seems to recognize PDF files and not Word documents, it likely means that your computer is set to "print to PDF" as the default printer instead of your physical printer, causing all documents to be saved as PDFs instead of being sent directly to the printer; check your printer settings in your Word document and ensure the correct printer is selected.
