I recently switched from a wireless configuration to a wired connection from my ENVY 5530 to my PC. It will print a test page, but not other files that I send to the printer. Any suggestions? Please help!

Welcome to HP Forums,
This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.
I recommend you delete the driver at the root level and Install the drivers, follow the steps below:
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose `Delete' or `Remove Device'
6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between "printui.exe" and "/s")
8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
Then, Click on this link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-envy-5530-e-all-in-one-printer-series/... to download HP ENVY 5530 e-All-in-One Printer series Full Feature Software and Drivers

Hello Raj!
I got as far as #8 in your solution to my problem and received the following message:
The following package(s) cannot be deleted: hpvyt11.inf (x64).
This package contains the following devices that are in use:
HP ENVY 5530 Series (Network)
The following drivers cannot be deleted:
Driver HP ENVY 5530 Series (x64) is in use. It is used on: HP ENVY 5530 Series (Network).
Prior to beginning the steps in your solution, I removed all references in HP ENVY 5530 from my Printers and Scanners.
Question: Did I miss something, or is there a workaround I can use to complete the steps in your solution?
I really appreciate your rapid response to my earlier problem, but don't know where to go from here.
Thanks,

Try to Create a local user or administrator account in Windows using this link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4026923/windows-10-create-a-local-user-or-administrator-acc...
Then install the printer driver and try printing.
If the issue persists, I have sent you a private message, to contact HP Phone support depending on the product that cannot be shared in a public post.
Can you please check your inbox on the forums page for the private message.
Have a great day!
