Hello, I can't find my printer password. Please help. My printer was bought and they didn't give a password. How can I find my printer password?

Hi @DZdelim99
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
To better assist you -
1) Can you send us a picture of the screen asking you enter the password?
2) Have you tried the Wi-Fi password located on the router?
3) Is your device connected to the home network or to the printer's network?
If you are trying to connect the printer using Wi-Fi Direct, try these steps -
Step 1 Try the default password - 12345678.
If the default password does not work, please print a Network Configuration page and look for a Wi-Fi or a Wireless Direct password.
Step 2 To print a Network Configuration page - From the printer control panel, press the Wireless button and the Information button together to print the network configuration page.
If you'd like to connect the printer to your home network, try these steps -
We need to make sure the printer and the computer or mobile devices are all connected to the same network. If the Wi-Fi LED on the printer is blinking, the printer is not connected and try these steps -
Perform a network restore - Press the Wireless button and the Cancel button from the printer control panel at the same time, and then hold them for three seconds.
If the router has a WPS push button -
1) Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer for more than three seconds to start WPS push mode. The Wireless light starts blinking.
2) Press the WPS button on your router.
NOTE: THE MOMENT YOU PRESS THE WIRELESS BUTTON ON YOUR PRINTER, WITHIN 30 SECONDS YOU SHOULD PRESS THE WPS BUTTON ON THE ROUTER.
If this step is not successful, then we need to first connect the printer to a computer using a USB and then convert the wired connection to wireless as the printer does not have a control panel to enter the Wi-Fi password. Please refer to this document for steps.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
