Welcome to the HP Forums. I would be happy to help you with your HP Officejet Pro 8600 printer. I that after windows 10 upgrade it is not printing on envelopes.

I have a few steps to determine the issue and find a solution as well.

  • Update the printer driver, Click here to find the latest driver.
  • Load envelopes into the input tray.
  • Search Windows for Wordpad, then select WordPad in the results.
  • Click the menu icon, then click Page Setup.
  • In the Page Setup window, select your envelope type from the Size menu, select Landscape orientation, then click OK.
  • Type the address, then use the formatting tools on the Home tab to align and center the text.
  • Click the menu icon, move your mouse cursor over Print, then click Print preview to make sure the address is correctly centered and sized. If necessary, make additional changes to align the text.
  • Click Print.

Click here for the document which you can refer.

Let me know how it goes.

I downloaded the updated drivers.

I selected Word Pad.

I am able to print an envelope. (Quite an accomplishment!) Thanks for your help!

I tried to save a template. I made sure all of the settings were correct and that an envelope would print.

When I reloaded the file, the settings had gone back to a default. Is there a way to keep the settings so they don't have to be adjusted everytime there is an envelope to print?
