I have a 15 page allotment for the month and no matter what I try I can't get my envy printer to print in color. I've not used up 4 of the pages. It keeps coming out in Black and White. I just put in new cartridges sent by HP and tried different settings. It definitely does not say print in B&W. It's set for color printing.

@Magic4 Which app are you printing from? Some apps (for example google chrome) keeps it's own printer settings unless you choose "system settings", and likely the default in the app was set to print Black/White only.

If you print a report from the printer directly (ink level, print quality, etc), does it has color?

I readjusted the printer settings. There was something that said color that I didn't see as an option earlier. So problem solved. Thanks. It's too bad that I wasted 5 sheets of photo paper and 5 prints of my 15 prints a month allotment. Does HP ever adjust the allotment for mistakes like that?
