HP Laser MFP 135W

Hello!
I own this printer for several years and there was no such problem before.
I need to print high quality texts, so I always change the printing quality from 300dpi to 600dpi.
Recently I've had to reinstall the printer and to connect it to another wifi network. And after that the possibility to use 600dpi resolution had gone. I only have Normal quality in the dropdown menu. How can I fix this?
My OS: Mac Ventura 13.5.2
I use Acrobat Pro to print documents.

Hi @YuliaGonina,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

Have you made any changes to your current OS?

f your HP Laser MFP 135W is not printing at 600dpi after changing to a new Wi-Fi network, there could be a few reasons for this issue. Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:

Reconnect to Wi-Fi:

  • Ensure that the printer is properly connected to the new Wi-Fi network. You may need to reconfigure the wireless settings on the printer.
  • Use the printer's control panel or web interface to enter the new Wi-Fi network credentials.

Update Printer Drivers:

  • Make sure that you have the latest printer drivers installed on your computer. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause printing issues.

Note: If the printer is not compatible with the new OS version, you may not find the drivers.

Test with a Different Device:

  • Try printing a test page from a different device (computer or smartphone) connected to the same Wi-Fi network. This can help determine if the issue is specific to one device or affecting all devices.

Reset Network Settings:

  • If you're still experiencing problems, you can try resetting the printer's network settings to factory defaults and then reconfigure the Wi-Fi connection.
  • 1 Select (Menu) button on the control panel.
  • 2 Press System Setup > Machine Setup.
  • 3 Select the option you want, then press OK.
  • 4 Select the sub option you want, then press OK.
  • 5 Press OK to save the selection. 6 Press (Cancel) to return to ready mode.

If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's advisable to contact HP internal support for further assistance. They can provide specific guidance and may be able to troubleshoot the problem remotely.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
