I am having a hugely frustrating problem with my HP 3830. I got a new router and successfully reconnected my printer to the network; the HP wouldn't print. I uploaded the HP Scan and Print Doc and the Smart App - no help. I checked the ports, I checked the Windows update versions, I removed the driver and software and reinstalled, I went through Windows to make sure the driver and programs were running. I did EVERYTHING I was instructed to even when the solutions were cyclical and brought me back to the same "solution" pages on the HP Solutions pages and Scan Doctor, which has indicated that everything is working INCLUDING - the test page. I even had a tech from my internet company come out and make sure that there was nothing wrong with the network. He said the problem lies between my Dell laptop and Windows. I am SICK of dealing with this and doing the same things over and over and over WITHOUT fixing the stupid thing. I am a teacher and am about to begin teaching my class virtually. I CANNOT WORK WITHOUT A PRINTER.... I am unable to print, and unable to figure out what the block is. My printer is wireless and when I print the doc ends up in the queue and just SITS there. Printing from my daughter's laptop works; printing from my PHONE WORKS, but nothing from any program on my laptop. Not any PDF, jpg, MS word, Google slide - NOTHING I need some HELP.

Have you tried connecting to the USB port?
