@Daphrile, Welcome to HP Support Community!
Does the error message appear on your printer or PC?
If the error message is on the printer, perform a power reset on the printer.
Reset the printer
- Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
- Remove the ink cartridges from the printer
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Try printing, if the issue persists follow the next step.
Updating printer firmware
Firmware updates will have product enhancements and issue fixes.
Download and install the printer firmware from here. Also, you can use this document for reference
