Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are facing issue with your printer, I am glad to assist you.

So, when your HP printer is automatically canceling the print jobs, first make sure the connection between your printer and PC is OK.

Try updating your HP printer driver, or setting it as the default printer. If this does not work, then run an SFC scan to repair corrupted files on your computer.

Let's try a power reset on the printer.

Reset the product

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

Open Start Menu and type Device Manager in search.

Expand the Printers section and then right-click on your HP printer.

Select the Update driver option in the context menu.

Click on Search automatically for the updated driver software option.

Set your HP Printer to Default

To do that, press the Windows + R key to open the Run Dialog box. Type control and hit Enter.

Click on Devices and Printers.
