This is looking to be a fairly common issue. I have escalated to my contacts at HP but have heard nothing back yet. Based on some of the other posts here and some information from HP I would suggest the following.
First, remove all toner cartridges and then power off the printer and disconnect the power cord. Wait about one minute and then plug the cord back in an power on the device. If printer comes to ready, reinstall the toner cartridges. You then want to follow the steps below to perform a factory reset on the printer which is supposed to resolve the issue.
