@John0305, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding E0 Error on HP 6030e Printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

1. Check the Ink Cartridge Numbers:

  • Open the printer's cartridge access door.
  • Wait until the ink carriage stops moving.
  • Check the cartridge labels and compare them with the compatible cartridge numbers for your printer model.

2. Clean the Cartridge and Carriage Contacts:

  • Turn the printer off by pressing the power button.
  • Unplug the power cord.
  • Open the cartridge access door and wait for the carriage to stop moving.
  • Remove the cartridges and clean the contacts gently with a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with distilled water.
  • Ensure the electrical contacts on both the cartridges and carriage are clean and free of any debris or residue.
  • Allow the contacts to dry completely before reinserting the cartridges.

3. Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer by pressing the power button.
  • Unplug the power cord from the printer and the wall outlet.
  • Wait for 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet and then into the printer.
  • Turn the printer on and reinstall the cartridges.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!

Your reply just repeated the standard advice, which I have followed (as I said!!) and it had no effect. I was really hoping that you would read what i had written and offer a solution. You didn't. I now have a useless printer.
