I cant get scan to computer to work:

this is the error message i get 

 

You cannot use this function because it has been disabled. For more information, contact your network administrator or the person who set up the printer.

I understand you cannot get the scan to computer work on your printer, and a error message appear: you cannot use this function because it has been disabled.

 

Don't worry I'd like to help.

 

Have you tried opening the software for the Officejet 6600 (printer assistant on your desktop)?

 

✔️Once in the software, you can open the Scanner Actions section by double clicking on it and then select Manage Scan to Computer.

🛑If these options do not work or say it is already enabled, then you may want to try reinstalling the printer with the most up to date drivers from the link below.

 

Please update the printer driver using this  https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers.

thanks that worked, i added the app (capture) from windows store and all seems to be fine now
