Hi @Romarque

If your HP 58650 printer is having startup issues and requires a software reinstall every time, consider the following troubleshooting steps:

1. Check Power Supply:

  • Make sure the printer is connected to a reliable power source.
  • Avoid using power strips or surge protectors, as they can sometimes cause power issues.

2. Firmware Update:

  • Check for any available firmware updates for your printer. Firmware updates often resolve known issues and improve printer functionality.
  • Visit the HP Software and Driver Downloads page, enter your printer model, and check for firmware updates.

3. Reinstall Printer Software:

  • Completely uninstall any existing printer software.
  • Restart your computer.
  • Download and reinstall the latest printer software and drivers from the HP support website.

4. Reset the Printer:

  • Perform a factory reset on the printer. This can be done through the printer’s menu or control panel. Check your printer’s manual for specific instructions on resetting.

5. Check for Hardware Issues:

  • Ensure there are no paper jams or obstructions in the printer that may prevent it from starting properly.

I hope this helps!
