I have a HP 477 with a error code 0xc6fd0413. I've used this printer maybe a handful of times. I haven't used it in over a year. I just moved it to my home office. The black ink was already out so I replaced it.
Does anyone have a solution?

Hello Hoyt10;
Based on your description there is a high chance the printbar is damaged, either by lack of use (clogged printbar passages, cartridges being dry, empty or expired), some kind of hit or bump when transporting printer, abrupt level changes that affect printbar alignment, or printer subjected to freezing temps.
For you to take into consideration, you can try the following:
- Always use original HP cartridges that are not empty and not expired: they have a white tag with an expiration date.
- Plug the unit directly to the wall outlet.
- Check what the room temperature is and if the printer has been stored below 5 deg C / 41 deg F, place it into an environment over 15 deg C / 59 deg F and let it acclimate for 24 hours.
- Try Power Drain method: turn printer off, unplug it from the wall, press and hold the Power button for 2 minutes. Then plug it back and turn it on.
If your printer is still under warranty, you can call tech support for further investigation. If your printer is out of warranty, you can take it to a certified repair center for inspection.
