Hi @Hey2025,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you!

Let's try a power reset on the printer

Reset the product

With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.

Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

Wait at least 60 seconds.

Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

Reconnect the power cord to the printer.

Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

Also, try updating the printer's firmware. Click here

If the issue persists, I recommend contacting phone support for further assistance.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance

I've done this 1,000 times, I finally set to factor settings and it did its maintenance, hopefully I can get the scanning and all features back. It is now direct wired.

Okay nevermind, now it will not work at all unless directly plugged into the computer. It goes back to the printer error.  I really do not like these printers.  They do not last long.
