After changing my printer cartridges I am getting a blue screen with error code "01B3B8E6" . I have followed directions for similar issues (unplugging, waiting 60 seconds, and turning back on), but I keep getting the same message. I was not getting this message before I changed the cartridges. I even put the old cartridges back in and again am getting the same message. Not sure how to proceed from here. The virtual assistant was not able to understand this issue and not helpful. Any help and guidance greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I unplugged the printer and left it unplugged overnight. I plugged it back in but now it is showing a blue screen and flashing lights with Error code 042D34E8. I cannot access the touchscreen menu. Can someone please forward me the fix or way to reset to factory settings without the touchscreen? Thanks.

Hi @PK6998,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing an issue with your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 printer. The blue screen code you mentioned, 01B3B8E6, is an error code that indicates a hardware failure or malfunction. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue.
- Restart your printer: Turn off your printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for a few minutes. Then, plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes help clear up any temporary issues with the printer's hardware.
- Update your printer's firmware: Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer, and install it if there is. This can sometimes help fix any bugs or issues with the printer's software.
- Check for any hardware issues: If the error code persists, it may indicate a hardware issue with your printer. You can try checking for any visible damage to the printer, such as a paper jam or a disconnected cable.
- Reset your printer: If none of the above steps work, you can try resetting your printer to its default settings. To do this, turn off your printer, and then hold down the wireless and cancel buttons together for five seconds. Release the buttons and wait for the printer to reset itself.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Hi @PK6998,
I am afraid, there are other steps to reset without using a touch screen, if you got one. Or you may have to take it to the local stores near you as it looks like a potential hardware issue.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Reset the product
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Wait at least 60 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
Turn the printer on.
Regards,
Diana
