Hi @WLA11,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

For the cartridge error on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8625e, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try.

  • Check Cartridge Installation: Ensure that all cartridges are installed correctly. Remove each cartridge and reseat them firmly until you hear a click.
  • Clean the Contacts: Use a lint-free cloth and a bit of rubbing alcohol to gently clean the electrical contacts on the cartridges and inside the printer.
  • Reset the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
  • Check for Firmware Updates: Make sure your printer's firmware is up to date. You can check this through the printer's settings or the HP website.
  • Test Individual Cartridges: If the error persists, try installing one cartridge at a time to see if one of them is causing the issue.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
