We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Reset your printer
- Turn off the printer and disconnect the power cord.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait for 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to the wall outlet and the printer.
- Turn on the printer.
Check the printer for paper jams or obstructions
- Open the carriage access door.
- Inspect the inside for any paper jams or obstructions and remove them.
- Close the carriage access door.
Remove and reinsert ink cartridges
- Open the ink cartridge access door.
- Remove the ink cartridges and inspect for any damage or residue on the contacts.
- Clean the contacts using a dry lint-free cloth.
- Reinsert the ink cartridges after cleaning and close the ink cartridge access door.
Perform a printer firmware update
- Ensure the printer is connected to your computer and has an active internet connection.
- Visit the HP support website and download the latest firmware update for your printer model.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to update the firmware.
Use HP Print and Scan Doctor
- Download and install the HP Print and Scan Doctor.
- Run the application to diagnose and automatically resolve any issues.
