Hi @Christt,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP printer isn't printing when you click the print button, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try.

Check Printer Status:

  • Make sure the printer is powered on and connected to the computer or network.
  • Ensure that there are no error messages on the printer’s display (if it has one).

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Inspect the printer for any paper jams or obstructions.

Verify Printer Queue:

  • Open the printer queue from your computer and check if there are any stuck print jobs. Cancel any stuck jobs and try printing again.

Check Ink/Toner Levels:

  • Ensure that the printer has enough ink or toner, and replace any empty cartridges.

Restart Devices:

  • Restart both the printer and your computer.

Update Printer Drivers:

  • Make sure the printer drivers are up to date. You can download the latest drivers from the HP support website.

Reinstall Printer:

  • If updating drivers doesn’t help, try removing and reinstalling the printer on your computer.

Check Network Connection (for wireless printers):

  • If the printer is wireless, check that it's properly connected to your WiFi network. You can run a network test from the printer’s control panel.

Check Printer Settings:

  • On your computer, ensure that the correct printer is set as the default printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
