Hi @ChrisJacob1224,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Clean the Ink Cartridge and Printhead Contacts

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Open the printer's access door and remove the ink cartridges.
  • Using a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with distilled water, gently wipe the electrical contacts on the ink cartridges and printheads.
  • Allow the contacts to dry completely before reinserting the ink cartridges.

Reset the Printer

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer and from the wall outlet as well.
  • Wait for at least 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer and the wall outlet.
  • Turn the printer back on.

Check for Firmware Updates

  • Ensure your printer’s firmware is up to date. HP regularly releases updates to improve functionality and resolve issues.
    • Open the HP Smart app or HP Printer Assistant on your Windows 11 computer.
    • Navigate to 'Settings,' 'Tools,' or 'Printer Updates.'
    • Check for and install any available firmware updates.

Use Genuine HP Cartridges

  • Verify that you are using genuine HP ink cartridges. Non-HP cartridges or refilled cartridges may cause errors and affect printer performance.
  • If you suspect the cartridges are not genuine, consider replacing them with new, genuine HP cartridges.

Check Cartridge Installation

  • Make sure the cartridges are properly installed.
    • Open the access door and ensure each cartridge clicks into place securely.
    • Close the access door firmly.

Print a Supply Status Report

  • Sometimes running a diagnostics page or supply status page can help identify the issue.
    • Open the HP Smart app or HP Printer Assistant.
    • Navigate to 'Settings' or 'Tools.'
    • Find the option to print a 'Supply Status Report.'

I hope this helps.
