Update the printer firmware

Download available firmware updates from the HP website

With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates.

For more information, go to Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware.

 

To isolate the issue further, I would need a few details:

  • Are you trying to connect the printer to a wireless network or trying to use the WiFi Direct feature?
  • Has the printer worked fine before?
  • Did you make any changes to the printer recently?
  • Would you like to connect the printer to a computer or mobile device?
  • If a computer, what is the operating system installed on your computer?
