Only on photo paper?? That stinks!
Can you select photo paper as your media, but not actually use photo paper? I'm needing to print borderless on legal size paper.
I'm on a Macbook Pro OS 14

Edit / Update
If you wish to try it,
If your MacOS software supports it and the options will work out,
- Pack that print image into a Document - Print at size and trim
OR
- Export the Document to PDF and print that file >>
- Favorite print software OR perhaps Adobe Reader DC -
- Print at the size you want on the supported paper size / type
- Note that Adobe will print at any size you want, including Poster that can be spread across more than one sheet of supported paper.
- Trim the edges with a paper cutter.
NOTE
If you don't have a paper cutter, you can likely get one at a local office supply store or online (for example, Amazon).

OK -
We crossed each other's posts.
Although the examples in my first post do not directly apply to your MacOS, the answer is the same.
The limitation is hardware, not software.
No, you cannot select photo paper when you are not actually using photo paper.

We don't control the answers, of course.
I wish you could have what you want.

I am trying to print from QuarkXpress. I have created a PDF and tried printing from that, but it still isn't borderless. I suppose I will just have to have them printed elsewhere. This is really disappointing because my last HP would print borderless. If I had known that this one didn't, I would never have bought it. Sorry, HP, you've let me down.
