I cannot get rid of the message "carriage stuck ..." ... there is no issue
I found a referral to solve this by advanced reset.
So I would like the procedure to perform an advanced reset on envy 4504

Hi @Kurt226,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you!

Carriage Jam could be a hardware issue.

However, manually moving the carriage, removing and re-installing the ink cartridges and power resetting the printer may clear the carriage jam error. Instructions on how to resolve a carriage jam can be found here

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance

Hi,
I've followed all steps of the procedure, but still the same error message.
The carriage moves freely, no paper in printer - cartridges removed and reinstalled - message won't go away ...

That's why I asked for the advanced or factory reset procedure, after having read from other users with the same issue...

Note that, dus to the error message, I don't have access to the printer menu.  When I press 'ok' - the error message reappears ...

Thanks for helping me out 🙂
