Today I tried printing something but my printer states that there's low ink. I went to the ink store

and the owner filled up the ink on my ink cartridges. Then I reinstalled the cartridges but my

printer states that ink may be low. Furthermore, it refuses to print things, but it makes copies

just fine. The wifi on my printer seems to be working, but it doesn't print what I want it to. I need to

fix this asap because I need stuff printed for tommorrow. Please help, thank you.

Welcome to HP Forums,

This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂

As I understand, printer gives an error message

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

What is the exact error message?

Have you tried a non refilled cartridge?

Let's try these steps to resolve the issue: Click here

Step 1: Make sure the ink cartridges are compatible

Step 2: Make sure the ink cartridges are inserted correctly

Step 3: Clean the ink cartridge and printhead contacts

Step 4: Clean the ink cartridge contacts again

Step 5: Reset the printer

Step 6: Replace the problem ink cartridge

Let me know 🙂

Cheers 🙂

Hi there, thanks for your reply. A worker at a printer store told me that my ink cartridges have microchips and after the ink is gone, the printer will show there is no ink even though the cartridge is refilled. This is so that companies force consumers to buy new ink cartridges. He then told me there is a way to work around that. I haven't tried his method yet. Also, my new cartridges arrived so I'm just going to use the new ones. Thank you.
