HP OfficeJet Pro 9012 All-in-One Printer
I've connected and set up my HP OfficeJet Pro 9012. It's on the network. But the display freezes and constantly shows the message "Printing alignment page..." This blocks the touch panel. Nothing happens. Turning it off and on again didn't help either.

@Eddie321___, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

If your HP Officejet Pro 9012's display is frozen and constantly shows the message "Printing alignment page", here are steps you can follow to try and resolve the issue:

Reset the printer:

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall outlet.
  • Turn the printer back on.

Check for Obstructions:

  • Open the printer and carefully examine it for any pieces of paper or other obstructions that might be blocking the print mechanism.
  • Remove any found obstructions carefully.

Perform Printer Maintenance:

  • Run the built-in printer self-test or diagnostic tools to check for issues.
  • Refer to your printer manual for the steps to run these tests.

Reinstall the printhead and cartridges:

  • Turn off the printer and open the cartridge access door.
  • Remove the printhead and ink cartridges.
  • Reinstall them carefully and ensure they are correctly seated.
  • Close the cartridge access door and power on the printer.
