7510 A-i-O
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have bought a new printer (Office Jet Pro 8725). No problems here. But my old printer (Office Jet 7510 AiO) has been discarded, and I want to delete the account, which this old printer was connected to. I do not have the old printer (including its number) any more and it is not possible for me to delete the account, even if I have its username and password. I must deliver a "claim code" in order to reach the account. But this is impossible whithout the old hardware and its product informations.

What can I do?

It sounds like you are asking about your HP Connected account.

In general, although printers are added and removed from HP Connected, the account itself remains active.

HP Connected Login

Click Flag to switch to your region

If you do not know your HP Connected username / password, then you can first try to convince the login program to help you to recover access to the account.

Open HP Connected Login

Click Flag to switch to your region

Click to Sign-in

Click Forgot your username or password?

If you cannot manage to get logged into the account,

  • Contact HP Cloud Services / HP Technical Support for help

OR

  • Create a new account for HP Connected, use your new printer claim code to add your printer to the new HP Connected account

Caveat to Create a New account option

Know that if you do create a new account in lieu of fixing your current account access, that you will not have the option to reuse any previously created "custom" email address.  This reuse of a previous custom ePrint address option might not be available anyway depending on the circumstances; the "reuse" option is most certainly not available if you create a different HP Connected account.
