Laserjet M436n

Hi!

I have a Laserjet M436 printer and yesterday I replaced the drum kit step by step as in the guide has been written. (I filled the developer with beads and replaced the drum unit.)  When I was done I got an error message:
Imaging unit is not installed.

I removed and put it back the unit many times but nothing.

I removed the power cable from the printer for a time, nothing.

I know  the Tech menu. There is a Maintenance Counts where I can clear the counts. But need a passcode what I don't know.

Is this procedure can be a solution?

Or what should I do?

Thanks!
Robert

When you return old drum back in the printer are you still getting an Imaging unit is not installed message?

The truth is, firstly I wanted to buy just developer beads, because the counter now is only about 27.000. But the beads in the developer was almost empty. I dont know why... But unfortunately I can buy only drum kit. So first time I only filled in the developer with beads and I put it back the old imaging unit. In this case I got error message and I replaced the imaging unit with the new one. But the result is the same...

You might check the white cable I have seen the customer damaged that cable when the cable is not routed well and might get damaged with cover.

Yes, I also tought that, I checked it visually but I didn't see any damages. But I will check it with multimeter. If this is the problem can I buy this cable only?

That cable comes with the new developer unit JC96-08455A, not sure is it orderable separately.

Ok, I checked the cable with multimeter but it is fine. There is no break or damage. So what could even be a problem?
