@PL444, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you're having trouble printing with your HP DeskJet 3760 All-in-One Printer, which is showing as "pending" or stuck in the queue. Let's go through a step-by-step guide to resolve this issue:
Check Printer Status
- Ensure the printer is powered on and not displaying any error lights.
- Verify that it’s connected to the correct Wi-Fi network or USB.
- Print a Wireless Network Test Report to check the network status:
- Press and hold the Wi-Fi and Information buttons together until the report prints.
Clear the Print Queue
- On your computer:
- Press Win + R, type control printers, and hit Enter.
- Right-click your HP DeskJet 3760 and select See what’s printing.
- In the new window, click Printer > Cancel All Documents.
- Close and restart your computer.
Restart Print Spooler Service
- Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
- Find Print Spooler, right-click it, and select Restart.
- Try printing again.
Set as Default Printer
- Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
- Click on your printer, then select Manage > Set as default.
Reinstall Printer Drivers
Sometimes drivers can become corrupted. Here’s how to reinstall them:
- For Windows:
- Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
- Right-click your printer and select Remove device.
- Visit HP’s website or use the HP Smart App to reinstall the latest drivers.
- For macOS:
- Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners.
- Select your printer and click the minus (-) button to remove it.
- Add it again using the plus (+) button, or reinstall using the HP Smart app.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
