HP ENVY 6052 All-In-One Printer

I do not get an error message.  The printer acts as if it is going to print like normal. About 15seconds into the job, it stops printing and sits idle. When the printer spits out the job, the bottom half of the page is blank

Hi @5_1_2 ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand the issue you're experiencing with your HP ENVY 6052 All-In-One Printer could be related to a few different factors, such as a software glitch, a driver issue, or a problem with the printer hardware.

Here are some steps you can try to resolve the problem:

1. Check Ink Levels

  • Low ink can sometimes cause incomplete prints. Open the HP Smart app or your printer's control panel to check if any cartridges are running low on ink.

2. Restart Printer

  • Power off the printer completely, unplug it from the power source for at least 60 seconds, then plug it back in and power it on. This can reset any minor hardware or software glitches.

3. Update Printer Drivers Software and Drivers for HP ENVY 6052 All-In-One Printer

  • Ensure that your printer's drivers are up to date. You can download the latest drivers from HP's support page for the HP ENVY 6052 and install them on your computer.

4. Print a Test Page

  • Try printing a test page or document from a different program to see if the problem persists across different files or apps.

5. Check Print Settings

  • Make sure the paper size, orientation, and type settings match the paper in the tray. If these settings are off, it could interrupt the print job.

6. Disable Duplex Printing (if enabled)

  • If you're trying to print on both sides, temporarily disable this setting and print on one side only to check if that resolves the issue.

7. Reset Print Spooler

Sometimes, the print spooler (the service that manages printing) may get stuck or corrupt:

  • Press Windows Key + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
  • Scroll down to find Print Spooler, right-click it, and select Restart.
  • Try printing again after the service restarts.

8. Try Different Paper

  • Ensure the paper isn't damaged, and try a different type or brand of paper to see if it resolves the issue.

9. Update Printer Firmware Update the firmware on an HP printer

  • Outdated firmware can cause printing issues. You can update the firmware through the HP Smart app or directly from the printer's settings.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
