Incoming faxes are printing out with wording on very bottom of page cut off. It appears as though maybe print is possibly larger and therefore document is not fitting the page. This just started happening all of a sudden on all incoming faxes. I don't know if some setting got changed without my realizing it, but I have been unable to find anything to rectify this situation. Any help on this issue would be appreciated.
Thanks 🙂

Thanks. Trying to receive digitally might help in troubleshooting. If it still doesn't receive the fax completely, it's possible the sending fax machine is the one cropping the page. If it is indeed the sending fax machine cropping the page, and it has been corrected, you may revert back to receiving the fax as a printout (actually, I think it is possible to receive digitally as well as print at the same time).

Good day,
You might need to try steps below:
1. go to printer front panel, look for "Fax"
2. "Fax Setup"
3. "Preference"
4. "Automatic reduction" = "On"
This feature will help to set "Fit to page" image so that you can print out the full page in the event the paper size is difference with the sender.
Hope its help. 🙂

Hi,
Can you please check the following setting in the printer:
Fax > Setup > Preferences > Automatic Reduction
If this setting is turned on, it should be automatically reducing the dimensions of the incoming fax.
Thanks.

Hi,
1. Normally the auto-reduction should make the fax fit on the page. But would you be able to try inserting a longer paper? If you are using letter, try changing to A4 or legal sized paper and check if the fax now prints completely.
2. Would it be possible for you to try receiving the fax via email or network folder?
The instructions are here:
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05048181
...at page 14 (Set up HP Digital Fax).
If the fax is still not getting received completely using this method, please verify with the sender of the fax to make sure his fax machine is not cropping the document.
Thanks.

Hi, you may print a normal document that has connent till last line with media size set correctly to check if the error is due the printer cropping the print. If the problem is seen in print too, then you need to adjust the print settings in the driver or through control panel.
