C-309g HP Photosmart Premium

Cleaned all the contacts on the printhead as stated on the HP webiste as I was getting no "black" to come through.  All other colors were working fine.  Noticed that there was a build up of black ink on the printhead.   Put everything back in.  It did the alignment but it didn't complete.  I got an error messaage to restart the printer.  Did this and now I have and Incompatible Printhead message.  Opened up a new ink cartrige and I'm still getting the same error.  Also, took everything out again and checked, and there was more black ink build up on the contacts again on the printhead.  Any suggestions?  The ink cartridges are HP not some off name brand.

Tried it all- printer was toast! Thanks for the info though. At least I have some more knowledge of this than before.
