Hi,
I bouhgt a printer in UAE HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2135. I sent it to Philippines and after the ink rans out, we bought 680 instead of 652 because there was no 652 cartridge available in Philippines. But once installed it showed ink incompatibility. How can that be? Because in the package of 680 its showing that it is compatible in HP 2135 printer. Please help us to sort this out. Thank you.

Thank you for posting on HP Forums, MKazi is at your service.
I understand that you purchased the HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 2135 All-in-One Printer in UAE and have now sent to it Philippines. The ink cartridges (680) that were installed in the Phillipines do not work and give an incompatibility error. I'll be glad to assist you with this case.
You have pretty much understood the root cause of this issue. The HP ink cartridges are region specific. The printer will use the cartrdges only from teh region it was purcashed in. If the printer is moved to another region then it will reject the cartridges of the new region. Following is the ink cartridge compatibility chart for the printer:
You have an option to regionalize the printer to the new region.by calling our local HP phone support team via this link: www.hp.com/contacthp
Once the regionalization process is complete, the printer will start accepting the cartridges that are sold in the Philippines.
Secondly, here is an HP link using which you may order your cartridges for the country you're in: HP Sure Supply
NOTE: You need to select your country before ordering the cartridges.
Hope this information helps. Feel free to keep me posted for any further questions. All the best! 🙂
