Printer will not print Barclays bank statements. It prints all the blue elements of the page, name account number etc and the PDF looks fine in print preview, but doesn't print the transactions section of the statements. I also have a HP Envy 5532 and the exact same problem is happening with that too. If I use my Canon printer, that's fine, so this has to be a problem with the HP software.

Use the Canon to print these files
OR
Use the HP
Adobe Reader DC – Needed Whether You Use It or Not
If you have not done so,
Reinstall / Update your PDF Reader (Adobe Reader DC /Optional Foxit Reader)
HINT: Watch out for and UNCHECK unwanted extra software
NOTE: Adobe Reader DC software should be installed even if you do not normally open / view / print PDF files directly from the Adobe Reader DC software.
Download the bank statement file as a PDF file
>>> PDF - Print as Image
If the file will not print due to unusual content (odd fonts, color schemes, tables, other oddities), print the file as an Image. Image printing does not require the printer software to translate file content.
- Open the offending document in Adobe Reader DC
- Click Print icon > Set other options on the menu > Click Advanced button
- Set the printer select the colors (Optional)
- Select Print the PDF file as an image
===============================================================
Explanation (Just FYI - Can be Ignored)
The printer is not able to translate the parts of the file that do not print.
Usual results of "not translating" include skipping over the unknown content.
Comments (not to be confused with statements from HP)
When available, it is generally recommended that you install the Full Feature Software for the printer.
Doing so provides a foundation for other printing software / applications.
NOTE
When the Full Feature Software is not located in Category Software and Drivers (first sections),
Open and search subcategory Software-Utility
- Full Feature Software / Print and Scan Driver and Accessories or HP Easy Start Printer Setup (opt for "Full Driver") for your Operating System version.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Installing the Full Feature Software does NOT provide translation all file content.
- Adobe Reader > Print as Image
- Create a Snip of the information on the page > save the snipped image as a .jpg file > print that file.

No worries.
Foxit reader and Adobe Reader DC are similar - both include nice options.
I've not used Nitro Pro for a while - as I remember, it is also pretty nice.
Suggestion
If you have not done so, do install Adobe Reader DC.
Although the printer software may respond to Foxit, Adobe Reader is good to have installed even when you don't use it directly as a means to print.
Stay Safe.
