The info button is blinking orange in the same rhythm as the other orange light to the bottom right of the screen along with instant ink button the one with the envelope and there’s an E and a zero along with both ink icons blinking all at the same time. Will not accept print job. Says connected to internet but when I click in direct 4e hp dealer 4100 series which is wifi name in settings on my iPhone and enter the correct password it says unable to connect.on the info page it says I need to enroll in instant ink but reenrolled in it by setting up new device which was actually reenrollling this one but it was sucessful. Printer the info page for me. I should mention that before this issue just the power button was blinking and customer support took control of my computer and updated everything I gave permission to reset my printer and when she did that my computer restarted and lost our chat. When went back to printer it had all this stuff going on and still not printing . Have something to print out for court in morning so am freaking out

Hi @Trina86,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like your HP DeskJet 4152e is having some connectivity and enrollment issues, which is preventing it from printing. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you resolve the issue.
Check Instant Ink Enrollment
- The blinking orange lights, along with the message that the printer needs to be enrolled in Instant Ink, suggest that the printer might not be properly enrolled or there may be a communication issue.
- Double-check your Instant Ink enrollment through your HP account to confirm everything is correct. Sometimes, even after reenrolling, the system may need a moment to sync. You can do this by logging into the HP Instant Ink website or using the HP Smart app.
Reset the Printer
Since customer support already guided you through a reset, it might help to do a hard reset to clear any lingering issues:
- Unplug the printer from the power source.
- Wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
Check for Network Issues
You mentioned that the printer is connected to the internet but still has Wi-Fi issues.
- Wi-Fi Direct Connection: If the printer is not accepting Wi-Fi connection via your iPhone, make sure that Wi-Fi Direct is enabled. The printer's Wi-Fi Direct name (e.g., "HP-Print-xx-DeskJet-4152e") should show up on your phone's Wi-Fi settings. If it does not connect, reset the printer's network settings:
- Press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds to reset the wireless settings.
- Then, reconnect your printer to your network using the HP Smart app or the printer's control panel.
Clear Print Queue
Your printer might have jobs stuck in the print queue, preventing it from accepting new print jobs:
- On your computer or mobile device, go to the Print Queue (for Mac or Windows) and cancel any pending jobs.
- Restart your printer after clearing the queue.
Check the Ink Cartridges
Sometimes, issues with the ink cartridges (empty or improperly seated) can cause the blinking lights. Ensure that:
- The ink cartridges are installed correctly.
- The ink levels are sufficient (even if you're enrolled in Instant Ink, check your HP account for the status).
Test Print
After these steps, try printing a test page directly from the printer’s control panel or through the HP Smart app.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
