Hi @Rachel1821,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
When the information light on your HP DeskJet 2752e All-In-One Printer keeps flashing and prints an information page repeatedly, it typically indicates that there is an issue or a setting that needs attention. Here’s how you can address and clear this feature:
Clearing the Information Light and Information Page Issue:
Check for Error Messages or Issues:
- Look at the information page that is being printed. It may contain details about any errors or issues detected by the printer. Address these issues first to clear the information light.
Ensure Paper Tray is Correctly Loaded:
- Make sure that the paper tray has enough paper loaded and that it is properly inserted into the printer. Sometimes, paper jams or low paper levels can trigger the information page to print repeatedly.
Check Ink Cartridges:
- Verify that the ink cartridges are properly installed and have sufficient ink levels. Low ink levels can sometimes prompt the printer to print maintenance pages.
Perform a Power Cycle:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for about 30 seconds.
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
- This can sometimes clear temporary errors and reset the printer’s internal system.
Cancel Print Jobs:
- If there are any pending print jobs in the print queue, cancel them. Sometimes, a stuck print job can cause the printer to keep printing.
Reset the Printer:
- Press the Cancel button on the printer control panel to stop the current print job.
- If the information page continues to print, access the printer’s control panel menu and navigate to Settings or Tools.
- Look for an option to reset the printer to its default settings or perform a factory reset. Follow the on-screen prompts to reset the printer.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Visit the HP Support website and check if there are any firmware updates available for your HP DeskJet 2752e printer. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve persistent issues.
Check Printer Settings:
- Use the printer’s control panel menu or the HP Smart app to review and adjust the printer settings. Ensure that there are no settings configured to automatically print maintenance or information pages.
- If the issue persists after trying these steps, contact HP Support for further assistance.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
