Just received the printer from work. Downloaded the software straight from HP.com and had no problems. I need to install new ink because those in it are old and empty. When I open the access door the carriage does not move to the center so I can remove and replace the ink cartridges.

Can you move the cartridge holder by hand, remove the power cord first.

I can't manually move it either.  There are no jams, no errors, nothing.  It just doesn't move when I open the access door.
