I have refilled cartridges.  Printing  was working with thee cartridges.  Cartridges are almost full.  Suddenly I got message "Ink "  cartridge problem. At least one of   the cartridges  has a problem." Cleaning of contacts didn't help.  Any suggestions?

Update the printer firmware-

Download available firmware updates from the HP website

With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. Refer to the document HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

 

The third-party/refilled ink cartridges will work. But there are many cartridges in the market which are refilled and sometimes the chip is not configured to work with the printer. You need to contact the cartridge manufacturer and find out why it is not working. Try a different cartridge supplier and check if that works.

Hi I tried your recommendations. Unfortunately they didn't help to resolve the problem. Also I tried to remove color cartridge. Now Printer is working in one cartridge mode. Temporary it will  resolve my problems . I ordered  color cartridge from China and  will replace it once it will  arrive.
