Ink System Failure Error Code 0xc05d2281 Photosmart 3210

I have received the  ink system failure  error code 0xc05d2281 for my Photosmart 3210. I have searched the forum here and found the solutions for resetting the printer/removing the print cartridges. That did not work.  Are there any additional troubleshooting steps out there that can be performed before I decide to replace the printer? Thanks.

If you have already performed the steps from the document  '0xc19a0005' or Similar Error Code Displays and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Since the device is out of warranty, and we've concluded that this is a hardware malfunction, I may have a few pointers/suggestions to help you out, however, since these suggestions are limited to you and your printer alone, I'd like to send out a private message with those details.
