More a complaint than a question!
I have an HP DeskJet 2600 all in one. I purchased it October 2018, have only printed one page requiring black ink, have not used it since purchase, tried to use it within the last couple of days. The ink is reading half full, although nothing will print at all. I have cleaned per request all steps, even immersed cartridge in hot water to soften ink, alas no print as if there is no ink in the cartridge at all. The colour cartridge prints the wrong colour and have realised that yellow is indeed a greenish colour. When it does print colour it gives less than a dozen prints compared to the many dozen it claims, black dries up after a couple dozen pages, or no ink in it at all!
I now realise, rather my realisation is confirmed through experience that HP is ripping people off big time and this should be illegal, but manufacturers don't seem to care because they know it will be too expensive for us to pursue a legal course, so get away with this wholesale theft.
Deliberately putting wrong colours in colour cartridges to get you to buy more and not putting black ink into black cartridges to make you buy more. How utterly disgraceful, this is controlled obsolescence at it's worse. We can not even use compatibles because HP have blocked use of and make them appear faulty when they are not, I can confirm this as the printer prints a "printer information page" perfectly, but endless trouble otherwise.
I will never use HP ever again for this deliberate £ clawing scam. ![]()

Welcome to HP forums, I see that you are getting issues with the cartridges.
This situation will need some additional support from our internal teams in HP. For that to happen, we will give you additional instructions/information via private message.
Cheers.
