I have looked on HP website to find ink cartridges for my officejet 6310 All-in-one printer. It stated that cartridges95 and 98 would work on my printer. I received the cartridges last week and had them installed. Now my printer is giving me an error; stating ink cartridges are not the correct ones. Further, I then selected order cartridges on-line from the printer menu and it states I needed ink cartridges 343 and 337. The new cartridges 95 and 98 has caused my printer to be inoperateable and now have two new cartridges which I cannot use. HP should know what is the correct cartridges to be installed in their series of printers and does not matter how old the printer may be. I would like to know how I am going to get money back from the company for the new cartridges since the packaging has been opened. Or will HP refund me the money that I have invested for the incorrect ink cartridges? I have just checked the HP website as I am writing this message and it still states cartridges 95 and 98. Inaddition, the ink cartridge box states officejet 6310.
Is there a solution on getting the new cartridges 95 and 98 to work on my officejet 6310 all-in-one printer? Is there a patch that can be downloaded to the officejet 6310 printer?
This is frustrating, since the printer is old and works like a charm and one has a hard time to find ink cartridges.

What countrry are you located in? Was the printer originally purchased in a different country?
As @Valsimot mentions different cartridges are used in different regions. If the 95/98 cartridges are correct for the country you are in the region of the printer can be reset to accomodate them. If your region is one that uses the 343/337 cartridges but you ordered 95/98 cartridges HP will not be able to help you.

There are differences in localisation for printer ink consumables.
95 and 98 ink cartridges are for printers with US localisation while 343 and 337 are for European localisation and you cant so simply change ink cartridges from one region to another. They work, but a printer and ink cartridges must be purchased for the same region.
