Ink carts for my Deskjet 460

Basically, my problem is: After installing a new tri-color 95 ink cart, and a black 98 ink cart in my Deskjet 460, it keeps "cycling" and showing a red light indicating a problem with the black ink cart.  I tried a 2nd 98 with the same result.  I THINK, the recommended black cart is a 94, but I'm not sure what the difference is (they look identical).  Is using a 94 instead of a 98 the problem?  (I also have an Officejet 150 Mobile All-in-One printer that DOES take a black 98 and a color 95) I had a spare 98, so tried to use it.  I appreciate any guidance on this issue, and would answer any questions from the community or provide any additional information.

Oops, I made a typo in my previous post: I should have said: Is using a 98 instead of a 94 the problem? Sorry!

Welcome to the HP support community.

HP DeskJet 460 printer is designed to work with original HP 94, HP 95, and HP 97 ink cartridges.

HP 98 is not compatible cartridge for this printer,

Thanks Sandytechy20! I couldn't find anywhere on the printer or the manual the recommended carts, and I had a 98 cart that I use in my other mobile printer (Officejet 150 all in one) and figured it should work in the 460, but no.  So on a whim, I bought a 94, and viola!!! It works fine with a 94 & a 95 cart.  Thanks!!
