I am getting the error code "Ink print error" and blue screen error B8AB5D9A on the screen. After this, the printer goes into limbo and lights flash on the screen and on the power button.
What is this error related to? I have been charged for the ink plan from HP but I have not been able to use my printer for 4 months. I should get my money back for these months at least. I have changed the cartridges and run head clean commands to the printer to no avail. My printer still shows this error and reboots every time I turn it after 2 to 5 minutes. I have not heard from HP Support at all. If the solution is to throw the printer away I am fine with that but I need to know why it doesn't work. Also, I won't be buying anything from HP due to this failure to represent the company I used to own company stocks of.
I can't believe it's taking almost 5 months and not a word from HP except bills to pay. I used to support HP servers and full-time printer/scanners at work and was impressed with the support we always received. As a particular customer, I am very frustrated now with HP.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I understand that your HP Officejet Pro 8610 Printer is stuck in an error state. Don't worry as I have a few steps to help you get through this concern,
Reset the printer:
- To reset the printing mechanism, unplug the printer, wait, and then plug the printer in again.
- Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
If these steps resolved the issue, you do not need to continue troubleshooting.
If the issue persists, continue to the next solution.
Update the printer firmware: Check for the latest printer updates.
- From the home screen on the printer control panel, touch the ePrint icon (
).
- Wait for the printer to connect to the ePrint server. The ePrint status displays.
- Touch Settings on the bottom left corner of the screen.
- Touch Printer Update, and then touch Check for Update Now.
- For additional troubleshooting steps refer to this link.
If the issue persists, then you can try to perform a semi-full reset on the printer. I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.
