Product: 8710
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I checked for printers that take ink 950 & 951 before purchasing a new printer, as i have new 950 & 951 cartridges (old printer 8600 quit) & read that hp8710 takes it. When i got new printer, it had cartridges 952 in it. What to do? now I'm confused!

Hi
8600 and 8710 Printer are two different series.
Cartridges cannot be swapped.
If the ink cartridges for 8600 Printer is still not opened, you can get it exchanged from HP for you 8710 Printer.
