Hi, I replaced the printhead with a new original one. Now I've got the ink system failure. I tried all the proposed solutions. I disconnected the printer from the power supply for 60 seconds, I also reset it from the support menu but I still have the same error. I think I need the 364 setup cartridges and reset it again. Where I can find them?

Thanks.

@gaio73

You don't require the setup cartridges (only used during first set-up), nay what you need is a replacement cartridge to resolve the issue, if the issue persists,

the printhead may require a replacement if you've gone through all the steps suggested in the link I shared earlier and yet there's been no change.

I suggest you talk to HP support and discuss your options:

follow the below steps to get started:

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2) Click on "Continue as guest".

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Click on "Show Options".

Fill the web-form, to populate a case number and phone number for yourself!

If you wish to know where you can find replacement cartridges, you can check this link to identify compatible cartridges with your printer: Click here

Meanwhile, If you wish to reset the printer according to HP Guidelines, here are a few steps to begin with:

  1. Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.

  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.

  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.

  4. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

  5. Wait at least 60 seconds.

  6. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

    NOTE:

HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.

  7. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.

  8. Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.

  9. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

If the issue persists, continue to the next step.
