Product: Example: Photosmart C5180
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

I didn’t use this printer almost 8 years because Of using other one HP 6500A plus. I got error message of “ink system failure with error code: 0xc18a0406”. I have tried holding down both buttons(help+ok) and (help+ok+power), unplug and plug in. No luck for me. Any suggestion?

I see that the printer is in error state. If you have already performed the steps from the document  '0xc19a0005' or Similar Error Code Displays and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
