I bought three  inks yesterday (1 unit) and today (2 units) from my nearest TESCO. Each of two units only printed 10 to 20 pages of black and white (quality of print setting is the lowest 300) . I strongly suspect the series have quality problem. I am keeping one with unopened for a evidence. Please give me instructions.

@Tysry, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Do you get any errors related to the ink cartridges?

What type of documents do you usually print? Text or Photos?

  • Printing photos consume more ink than printing documents/text on a regular paper.
  • Replace the empty ink cartridge with a HP regular/XL ink cartridge for better results.
  • For more information about cartridge yields and ink use, click here

Also, printing in BEST quality mode utilizes more ink than printing in NORMAL or DRAFT mode

To check/change the print settings on the MAC, refer to this document. For Windows PC, refer to this document.
