This might be a dumb question but I cannot find an answer. Is the input tray on Hp3830 one piece? There was a paper jam & I most likely leaned on tray too hard & the top portion came off. I can’t seem to find how to put it back on which makes me think it’s one piece & I have to buy another. I moved so printer was in box & I just set it up.
The piece doesn’t look like it’s broke. I looked all over to see if it’s one piece but cannot find an answer. Bit frustrated

I did check the manual and it cannot be fixed back. It is broken as per your description.
I'd suggest you contact HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
Hope this helps!

Thank you so much for answering. I worded it wrong so it really was a stupid question. The part that the paper lays on snapped off. There are nubs on each side of piece which makes me think it snaps on something but I cannot find where. Usually good at stuff like this everyone comes to me for help on things.
The printer was already together when I opened the box & the video shows only how to lean part back. I need something that either I can read or see to put the piece back on. I cannot afford to have someone to look at it & the day I sent the message I spent quite a bit of time trying to figure it out. Also one video shows it being pulled out, well the one I have didn’t pull out. Also, I know how to do it but the paper is a pain to load. I had. an Hp for about 15 years, it went, someone suggested.a Canon, mistake, back to Hp. I hope this can be put back on I just set the printer up.
any help will be appreciated
thank. You

I’m totally embarrassed🙀& I hope the person who gave me the video to watch how the input tray snaps in reads this. I’m so sorry, you gave me my answer & I now cannot find your email. I really dislike my iPhone. It deletes messages, sent a message that went to The White House along with my friend, seems to attach names to my other emails. Well I cannot find the video. Would you be so kind to send it to me again? I even had it under important. There are emails in the category I didn’t even put as important yet it took yours out. I was about to listen & watch while trying to fix tray & it’s gone! 😳I’m really sorry but would appreciate it sent again, please🙄.I wanted to bookmark it but I wasn’t able to do it.
thank you
